The Membership Chair handles the membership registration at every meeting and collects the membership fees. She also is responsible for the maintanance of the membership database, production of name badges. And of course the membership directory, mailing labels and e-mail addresses. |

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Cristina Santín. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. My father is Puerto Rican and my mother is Cuban. I am the fourth of six siblings. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Marketing from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts. While in Massachusetts, I had the opportunity to meet individuals from different countries, an experience truly enriching for me particularly nowadays that I will be on the move. In Puerto Rico, I had a seven year career in marketing working for two years in Colgate-Palmolive Company and for five years in The Gillette Company. My years in these companies allowed me to grow professionally and personally. I have been very privileged to have met great individuals with whom I maintain a valuable friendship. While working, I completed a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I was married in February 2007. My husband and I lived in Guayaquil, Ecuador for three months and were transferred to Budapest this May. I am now five months pregnant. This year has definitely been very exciting for me as I have been living many changes. I now look forward to becoming a mother in late February of 2008. I enjoy spending valuable time with my husband. I love to cook while listening to him playing the piano. Now, that I have free time I am practicing new recipes all the time.
